In a new Harper’s Bazaar interview, Demi Moore says she remembers the night she met Ashton Kutcher seven years ago.

“I knew it had the potential to be something special right away,” says the 47-year-old actress. “”It was like meeting somebody that I’ve just known, where you just recognize one another. It was so disproportionate, the level of emotion we were experiencing to the time we had spent together. But when you don’t know someone, you can’t just jump and say ‘I love you. Nice to meet you, I love you! … We used to end our calls or e-mails with ‘And everything we don’t say.’ It just seemed too much, too soon.”

Now, nearly half a decade later, when the lovebirds are not rocking the red carpet, they stay at home and watch Hoarders, Intervention, and Demi’s new favourite, Jersey Shore. “It’s an accident waiting to happen, and so you can’t not look.”

A few more highlights from Demi’s interview:

On whether she’d prefer being called a cougar or puma: “Cougar has become so distasteful. I really hate that expression.” She said recently that when it comes to her relationship, she’d prefer to be called a puma. “It has a sweeter quality, more elegant. And then somebody said to me, ‘Pumas are only for people in their 30s.’”

On Alexander McQueen: “McQueen was a genius. I was always thrilled to wear his clothes because they were more than fashion; they were truly works of art.”

Demi Moore was among the celebrity attendees at the 3rd Annual Pre-Oscar Hollywood Domino Gala benefitting Artists for Peace and Justice in Beverly Hills on Thursday night (March 4).

Hosted by Maybach and held at Bar 210 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the 47-year-old actress was joined by hubby Ashton Kutcher as she rubbed elbows with Hollywood’s most dedicated humanitarians.

Demi was riding high after triumphing over actor Kevin Bacon in an online contest, winning a $250 000 prize for her anti-sex slave charity.

She won the cash for The DNA Foundation — founded by Demi and Ashton— in the Pepsi Refresh Celebrity Challenge after she picked up the most public votes in an online poll.

And Demi’s foundation has offered the cash to the Girls Educational & Mentoring Services (GEMS), which supports women who have suffered sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking.

What a gal!

Now that Ashton Kutcher is busy healing international relations in Russia, Demi Moore has all the free time in the world to do the mom thing.

Enjoying a casual girl’s afternoon out, the 47-year-old former actress treated her teenage daughter Tallulah Willis to a coffee date at Starbucks in Beverly Hills yesterday (February 22).

Meanwhile, speaking of Ashton, he’s still tweeting from Siberia. (It’s -25 degrees F.)

He’s part of a U.S. delegation of technology and social media leaders that arrived today as part of White House efforts to improve ties with Russia as the Kremlin pushes to develop a Russian Silicon Valley.

“It’s really about what you write on your blogs,” Ashton said at a press briefing, reports Reuters. “That is the power of the social web, which is to say you don’t have to be a celebrity or sit on a podium to have a community that you can build, run an idea, a thought, a piece of leadership.”

Dressed in all black, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore attended a screening of Happy Tears at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Tuesday night (February 6).

Believe it or not, the happily married couple hopped on a plane en route to Russia shortly after the low-key event.

Ashton is nothing short of a super Tweeter and he’s part of a delegation being sent by the State Department to Moscow to talk about how technology can improve everything from health care, to education, to anti-corruption efforts.

Joining the likes of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and eBay CEO John Donahue, the Valentine’s Day actor will spend much of his time tweeting about the trip.

The group will meet with the Russian ministers of health and education, advisors to President Dimitry Medvedev and leaders of technology companies.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher were looking glamorous as ever as they attended the european premiere of Valentine’s Day at Odeon Leicester Square in London today (February 11).

While Ashton kept warm and cozy in his cashmere coat, Demi braved the frigid temps in a bold black and white mini dress.

Meanwhile, Ashton has told how he messed up a Valentine’s Day double date with his wife’s ex husband Bruce Willis.

The 32-year-old actor was supposed to book a restaurant for himself and Demi, Bruce and Bruce’s new wife Emma Heming, but failed to get a reservation.

“Last year I failed miserably,” he said, explaining that they ended up in a crowded bar almost “stacked on top of each other.”

Ashton said: “We decided to spend Valentine’s Day with Bruce and Emma, so it was like me and Demi and Bruce and Emma, which was great because we’re all best friends and we all hang out. The plan was to do a dinner at their place, but something fell through and I was calling around trying to get something and I hate dropping my name, I was like, ‘I’m calling from Mr Kutcher’s office,’ and literally every place was booked so we ended up sitting at the bar of some place - it was us and then the next couple, it’s like the scene in the movie where they’re all stacked on top of each other.”

Ashton said of romantic gestures: “I think the most romantic thing is travelling across the country to another country for an hour and then going back because there was a commitment on either side of it, just making the effort to travel, not sleeping for two days and knowing the day before and day after are going to be hell. Done that for someone and had it done.”

Surrounded by security, Ashton Kutcher and wife Demi Moore huddled together as they departed from LAX in Los Angeles last night (February 9).

The lovebirds were en route to London to join the rest of Ashton’s Valentine’s Day co-stars as they premiere the upcoming comedy at Leicester Square tonight.

Earlier in the evening, Ashton got soaked when he showed off his athletic prowess on the final episode of the The Jay Leno Show.

The 32-year-old actor had to catch a football thrown by recently retired Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner in a series of different weather conditions.

Ashton first had to battle wind, when studio producers used a fan to try to blow him over. He survived that attempt and managed to catch the football, much to his delight.

He then had to face an avalanche of fake snow, which dropped onto him from a great height, but still he caught Warner’s pass.

Finally, studio producers got a hose out and drenched Mr. Kutcher with it in an attempt to put him off catching his final throw. But the former model was a match for the water cannon and caught the ball for a third time, as confetti rained down on the drenched star.

Ashton Kutcher may be the leading man, but it was all eye on Demi Moore as the couple arrived at the Valentine’s Day at L.A.’s Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday (February 8 ).

While 32-year-old Ashton bordered on boring in his black suit and black v-neck sweater, 47-year-old proved she’s still got it as she worked the red carpet in her sexy little white dress.
