Jessica Biel was spotted walking her dogs in Runyon Canyon Park in Hollywood today (April 6).

With beau Justin Timberlake nowhere to be seen, the 28-year-old actress was joined by a lady friend as she flashed photogs a quick and rare smile before spending the afternoon with her pooch pals.

Meanwhile, Jessica is reportedly in the frame to star in a new movie about a mob mistress.

She would also be a producer on Mob Girl.

Lone Scherfig, who was at the helm of Oscar-nominated drama An Education, is in line to direct the movie about a real-life woman who became a witness for the government after infiltrating the mafia.

However, it’s early days so it’s not known who would co-star or when the film would hit cinemas.

Jessica has several projects in the pipeline including romantic comedy Nailed and the eagerly anticipated A-Team movie.

Jessica Biel attended the premiere of Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City on Wednesday night (March 10).

Joined by co-climbers Kenna and Emile Hirsch, the actress was on hand to check out the debut of the documentary chronicling their treacherous 19 000 foot trek up Africa’s highest mountain.

In February, the trio joined musicians Lupe Fiasco and Santigold, actress Isabel Lucas, and a team of scientists and experienced mountain guides as they climbed to the peak of Kilimanjaro to raise awareness about the global clean-water crisis.

For her part, Jessica compares the inactive stratovolcano to a woman.

“She was like this mysterious, foreboding, ominous woman. And she was hidden almost all day long, and just when you were unmotivated, and feeling like crap and uninspired and thinking, ‘What am I doing here?’ the clouds would part and she would peek out, and the beauty would strike you, and then you’d be inspired again,” Jessica said on the red carpet. “And she was literally, like, this woman who would pull this veil over her face and disappear, and then she’d show a little bit of herself, and then she’d disappear again. It was kind of this running joke, but I really felt that way. I felt like, ‘I respect you. Please let me get up, please.’”

As for the biggest challenge for Jessica? The mental aspect!

“It was a combination of the mental and the psychological aspects of the mountain, of the slow-but-steady pace that you had to go up it, and that sometimes made your brain just want to explode, because you just wanted to get there so badly,” she said. “And then you couldn’t see anything at night, when we were doing our ascent attempt, and you start thinking that it would never end and you’d start to think, ‘Why am I here? This is miserable!’ But then you’d get this rush of inspiration of ‘I’m not doing this for me. I’m doing this for something bigger than me, for people who don’t have a voice, for people that need water around the world,’ and then you’d power through,” she continued. “Your mind started to play tricks on you. And then, with the altitude, you just felt so strange. You didn’t know why you were lethargic, you didn’t know why you were so tired. It was an intense experience.”

Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro debuts March 14 on MTV.

Fall Fashion Week wrapped up in New York City last night (February 18), with Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel heading out for the Paris68 show at Milk Studio.

The couple famously avoid the glare of the paps, but made the exception for Marcella Lindeberg’s show, where they both took a spot on the front row.

Modestly dressed, Ms Biel wore top-to-toe black, with a simple shift dress and fedora, while her beau went casual in jeans and a grey blazer.

Not just looking loved-up yesterday, Jessica also attended the catwalk show for JT’s William Rast collection alongside his mother, who was happy to rave to the press about her possible future daughter-in-law.

“She’s amazing. She’s so down-to-earth,” Mrs. Timberlake told reporters. “They’re always trying to out ’special’ each other. They’re pretty openly affectionate.”

Justin Timberlake was seen taking a stroll through the streets of Manhattan today (February 18) en route to his apartment.

The singer-turned-fashion took cover in a red beanie and a pair of blue Ray Bans after a busy night at his William Rast fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Meanwhile, Jessica Biel was also seen returning home to JT’s pad after a business meeting. The Valentine’s Day actress looked cute in her trench coat and accessorized with an equally cute hat.

Meanwhile, the New York Post reports that Justin made all staff members at the William Rast show last night sign a gag order.

Says a source: “Justin made everyone sign an agreement not to gossip about him. Then, three-quarters of the entire venue was closed off for him, so all the stylists were forced to work on 31 models in a tiny area, causing tempers to flare.”

In a collection dubbed “New America,” JT showed off a parade denim, leather, military and biker styles. He said it was largely inspired by the sounds and people you’d see on the open roads between the Mississippi River and the West Coast.

Before the show, Justin told reporters: “We had this idea of discoverers … and what does the modern-day discoverer look like? Biker culture brought the word `nomadic’ to mind, which brought the word `bohemian’ to mind.”

They can usually be found miserable and together, but this morning (February 17) Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake were spotted out seperately in New York City in seemingly good spirits.

After shacking up at JT’s overnight, a glamorous Jessica could be seen exiting her beau’s Manhattan pad to tend to an appointment.

Moments earlier, Justin experienced some trouble when he couldn’t spot his own car. Wrapped up against the bitter New York winter, the singer/actor pointed at various vehicles before determining which one was his!

After a few bumps in the road of their relationship, the pair are said to be stronger than ever after they spent Valentine’s Day watching the sold-out matinee performance of Swan Lake at the New York City Ballet. Their date squashes recent web reports they had split.

The upcoming flick will feature cameos from his sister Penny and Cindy Williams – the original Laverne & Shirley.

He and Jess took some time apart through the fall while she was working, but stayed in touch via phone. They visited each other a little bit and Jess missed Justin, but she was willing to give him space. It really worked out because by the time the holidays were coming, Justin was back and focused on Jess!”
