Katie Holmes shared a chuckle with the paparazzi as she left an office building in Los Angeles today (July 29).

Rocking a safari-style jacket, denim capri pants and sparkly Christian Louboutin peep-toes, the 31-year-old actress was making her way back to her chauffered vehicle after attending a meeting regarding a potential future role.

Meanwhile, Katie’s publicist has once again shot down reports she is expecting her second child with hubby Tom Cruise.

A spokesperson for Mrs. Cruise was forced to dismiss pregnancy rumours earlier this year after she was spotted leaving a doctor’s office with what appeared to be a bloated stomach.

And the rep has spoken out again following recent tabloid reports which suggested the star was expecting a little brother or sister for the couple’s four-year-old daughter Suri after she was seen patting her stomach on the set of her new TV miniseries The Kennedys.

Says her publicist, “Unbelievable. (She is) not pregnant.”

She can often be found sporting sky-high stillettos and the most stylish of clothing, but today (April 7) Katie Holmes opted for function over fashion.

Sporting a green t-shirt, blue sweatpants and furry slippers, the 31-year-old actress was seen making her way to the set of her upcoming film, Son of No One, in New York City this morning.

The upcoming Dito Montiel-directed crime thriller tells the tale of a young cop who is assigned to a precinct in the working class neighbourhood where he grew up, and an old secret threatens to destroy his life and his family.

Looking weathered and worn down, Katie Holmes had a long day of work in New York City yesterday (April 5) but managed to spend time with her daughter in New York City.

After spending most of the day on the set of her latest flick, the 31-year-old actress and little Suri Cruise spent the afternoon at Alice’s Tea Cup for the second night in a row.

Katie had to carry an exhuasted Suri home after the long night out at the Tea Cup.

Meanwhile, Katie will now be spending most of her days working on her latest star-studded flick, Son of No One, about a young cop (Channing Tatum) who is assigned to a precinct in the working class neighborhood where he grew up, and an old secret threatens to destroy his life and his family.

The Dito Montiel-directed action crime thriller also co-stars Al Pacino, Ray Liotta and Tracy Morgan.

The Easter Bunny may not have visited the Cruise home (after all, Scientology looks down on all that hokey stuff) — but that didn’t stop Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise from getting their chocolate on.

Stepping out for an afternoon of sweet satisfaction, the mother-daughter duo were seen leaving the City Bakery Shop in Midtown Manhattan on Sunday (April 4) to pick up some confectionery treats.

Meanwhile, it appears Katie’s sudden sugar rush is all part of a “baby diet” to gain weight for baby number two!

“Katie’s been gorging on loads of carbs and she’s put on at least 12lb. She hates the fact that she’s heavier, but Tom [Cruise] insisted?that she needed more meat on her bones to have a greater chance of getting pregnant,” a source tells Now magazine. “Katie will always do what Tom says and this proves he still has a heavy grip on her. The plus side, from her point?of view, is that she gets to eat what she wants these days, rather than surviving on ?salad. But it’s not an ideal scenario for Katie because she’s always prided herself ?on her svelte figure.”

The pair have apparently been trying to conceive for months, with the 31-year-old actress anxious?to give little Suri a sibling.

The insider adds: “A lot of people in Hollywood were saying she’s pregnant, but the truth is that she’s let herself go a bit and it’s showing on her belly.”

Suri Cruise looked quite comfortable in her plush piglet slippers and pajamas as her somewhat frazzled looking mother Katie Holmes carried her into Alice’s Teacup for afternoon tea in New York City yesterday (April 2).

Afterwards, the two main women in Tom Cruise’s life headed to see Mama Mia on Broadway but after causing a fan and photog frenzy, they soon became the main feature.

“How can you not love her?” doting dad Tom has said. “She’s a joy.”

Katie Holmes looked to be showing signs of stress and aging as the 31-year-old mom grasped her coffee with veiny hands while running errands sans makeup in New York City this morning (April 2).

Is mothering a princess becoming too much for Katie?

Katie Holmes has spent weeks dodging rumors of a pregnancy with baby number two by husband Tom Cruise.

However, as the 31-year-old actress entered a Beverly Hills medical facility this afternoo (March 11), the loose and flowing dress she sported did little to debunk those rumours!

Might there be another Tomkitten on the way?

Katie recently made headlines after spending hours at the Hollywood Scientology Center in a sign that she’s “being prepared” for her second child.

“This is exactly what happened just before she got pregnant with Suri,” a source was quoted as saying. “Tom has made no secret of the fact that he would like another baby. It is almost as if she is being prepared for it.”

Curiously dressed for the winter weather in open-toed sandals, actress Katie Holmes was seen preparing to leave her New York City pad with daughter Suri Cruise yesterday (February 11).

A seemingly easy task which became quite the opposite when three-year-old Suri has a little temper tantrum and made it near impossible for Katie to get her into the car.

While the twos are supposedly terrible, it appears the threes are no walk in the park!

Katie Holmes and precious little Suri Cruise spent the afternoon today (February 10) catching snowflakes, playing in the snow and jumping around before taking a much-needed weather break and heading indoors to Sephora in New York City.

While three-year-old Suri looks absolutely enthralled in lip gloss, mom Katie has chipped nail-polish and a disheveled appearance.

Perhaps mom should take notice of Suri’s beauty secrets!
