Meanwhile, Nicole upcoming wedding to Joel Madden will be incredibly star-studded, if dad Lionel Richie has anything to do with it.

The Dancing On The Ceiling singer won’t be content with serenading the couple himself, but is bringing in some family friends to do a few performances.

According to Britain’s Heat magazine, Tina Turner, Leona Lewis, 50 Cent and Rihanna are just some of the celebrity guests expected to turn up. And he’s expecting them to sing.

“All of the biggest names in music are getting an invite,” says a source. “Lionel is asking some to sing. He wants the reception to be a big concert.”

Other guests expected to turn up include Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Sam Ronson.

Nicole Richie was spotted taking her daughter Harlow Madden to a dance class in Los Angeles this morning (April 1). Little Harlow must have danced her butt off and needed a lift to the car from her mommy.

Meanwhile, Nicole and pal Ashlee Simpson tried to play a April Fool’s Day prank on Pete Wentz - but failed miserably.

The trio went out for dinner together, with the two ladies confident of getting one over on their prey, but Fall Out Boy bassist Petehad a sense that something wasn’t right.

“Ah saw Nicole Richie out at dinner. Feel like I dodged a prank between her and my wife by seconds,” he told his followers on Twitter.

And Nicole admitted defeat, but wouldn’t reveal what the planned prank was.

She tweeted: “I had a PERFECT prank for Pete Wentz, but he caught me! Grrrrrrrrrrr. Gonna have to step up my game.”

And they weren’t the only celebs across the pond trying out April Fool’s gags.

Ashlee’s sister Jessica Simpson tried her best to fool her Twitter followers, declaring: “Is there an accelerated learning programme to become an asteroid miner? If so, I’m in.”

Meanwhile, Nicole says she really hasn’t had a chance to think about her wedding to Joel now that she’s “finally” engaged.

“I’ve been on the road. I just got home and so it’s really going to be, like, now that’s the time for me to sit down and think about what I want,” she told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show recently.

About specific plans, she said, “Not yet, but soon [we'll have a wedding date]. Yeah, it’s a big deal.”

Miss Richie also talked about her big baby boy, Sparrow. “He is six months. He’s huge. He was almost eight pounds when he was born.” Daughter Harlow is “22 pounds and she’s 2. And he’s 18 pounds and he’s 6 months — needless to say, I’m exhausted.”

Meanwhile, Nicole insists she doesn’t dress differently now that she’s a mom.

“Becoming a mother hasn’t changed my style,” she tells British newspaper The Times. “I’ve always been one to dress for comfort. My staples are a good pair of opaque black tights, so you can wear your summer dresses in the winter. Bed jackets are really important to me, because I can just throw a different one on every day and it’s a completely new outfit. And, in terms of footwear, I am 5ft 1in and I do enjoy wearing heels a lot.”

Nicole also opens up about the new fashion collection she’s launching.

“I’ve been wanting to design a range for, like, 10 years,” she says, adding that the Winter Kate collection “reflects my personal style.”

Nicole Richie looked very summery and smiley as she departed from traffic school in Beverly Hills today (March 17).

But it’s not only making ammends for past mistakes that the former wild child is currently focused on. Girlfriend’s planning a wedding!

And while Nicole is getting the man of her dreams, the same cannot be said about her dress.

“Nicole visited the Monique Lhuillier store in LA in February and liked a particular ruffled mermaid gown,” a Lhuillier insider tells Life & Style about the $45,000 dress. “But then Molly Malaney ended up wearing it at her wedding to [The Bachelor’s] Jason Mesnick. When Nicole saw the dress on TV on March 8, she had to scrap that idea. Now she wants a completely different look, and who can blame her?”
