Joined by 6-year-old Deacon and her 10-year-old mini me daughter Ava, actress Reese Wtiherspoon hit up the White House today (April 5) for the Easter Egg Roll.

The trio flew in late last night as Reese and the kids went to an Easter Sunday church service in Los Angeles with her new boyfriend Jim Toth.

A source was quoted as saying: “They seemed really happy and at ease out in the open as a couple. They were all dressed up for [service] and looked festive. Jim seemed to be there to support Reese and spend time with her and her kids.”

Doing what she does best, Reese Witherspoon shopped the afternoon away at Lost & Found in Hollywood yesterday (March 31).

After dropping some serious cash at the tiny side-by-side kids boutique on Yucca Street, the blonde beauty was in good spirits as she headed home to show her kids their new merch.

Meanwhile, Columbia Pictures is reportedly developing The Pioneer Woman, a romantic comedy being shaped to star Reese. It’s based on ThePioneerWoman.com, a blog by Ree Drummond that details how, on a trip from L.A. to Chicago, she wound up in Oklahoma with the cowboy of her dreams. But what’s the blog about? In Ree’s words: “I post photos of cows, horses, and my four weird children, and frequently include shots of cowboys wearing chaps.”

Drummond has already written a cookbook, and her story, Black Heels to Tractor Wheels, will be published by William Morrow next Valentine’s Day.

The endorphins were clearly running high as Reese Witherspoon sported a rare smile following a workout in West Hollywood today (March 30).

Bundled up in her hoodie, the 34-year-old actress was seemingly in good spirits despite the presence of paparazzi following her one-hour yoga session.

Meanwhile, Reese and fellow A-lister Tom Cruise are reportedly in talks to star together in the new rodeo love story Paper Wings.

Tom would play a rodeo champion who falls for an up-and-coming country singer, played by Reese.

The romantic drama was set up at New Line before moving to Sony, where it is being produced by Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment.

Reese is an obvious choice for leading lady after her Oscar-winning turn as June Carter Cash in Walk The Line.

Stepping out to tend to some domestic duties, the 34-year-old actress and her new beau Jim Toth did some groceries in Los Angeles on Wednesday (March 24).

Reese and Jim looked very natural together as they picked up some wine and other goodies ahead a cozy night in.

Meanwhile, Reese is said to behaves “like a schoolgirl” when she’s with new boyfriend.

“Reese is normally super-private about her love life, but she acts like a schoolgirl when it comes to Jim,” a source close to the couple has been quoted as saying. “She has a spark with him that just was never there with Jake [Gyllenhaal].”

“Jim is very steady,” the insider adds. “He used to be a bit of a player, but he wants to settle down. And he’s had a crush on Reese for a long time! Reese also likes that he doesn’t go off for months to make movies, but still does extremely well for himself. Jim has money, power and connections.”

Reese also likes that Jim is good with her two children with ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe — 10-year-old Ava and 6-year-old Deacon. Says the source: Whenever Deacon or Ava has a school event, Jim offers to be there. Any guy who makes time for her kids wins high marks from Reese.”

The Ocar-winning actress happily stepped out with boyfriend, Jim Toth (an agent at Hollywood’s powerful Creative Artists Agency) in Ojai, CA today (March 21) to spend her 34th birthday weekend together.

While ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe took care of the kids, Reese and her beau could be seen walking hand-in-hand through the small rural town where Reese owns a cottage before noshing on some local Mexican food.

Next up? Reese will celebrate her 34th birthday on Monday.

Upgrade or downgrade?

Joined by the likes of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Acon CEO Andrea Jung, dogooding actress Reese Witherspoon attended the 2010 Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards at The Kennedy in Washington, DC last night (March 10).

Reese was on hand to honor women from across the globe who have shown tremendous courage and leadership in advocating for human rights.

The Walk the Line star, who is a global ambassador for the Avon Foundation, is partnering with the non-profit group Vital Voices to highlight the difficult issues that women face including domestic abuse.

Taking the podium, Reese said her Legally Blonde character Elle Woods had been ousted as the most stylish woman to come to the nation’s capital by First Lady Michelle Obama, who was also in attendance.

“As an actress, I have always sought out roles that portrayed women as strong and powerful, such as Elle Woods, who was in the ‘Legally Blonde’ movies,” she said to laughter from the audience. Woods, she said, “happened to be the biggest fashionista who ever came to Washington until Michelle Obama. Thanks a lot.”

Hillary then introduced Lady O as “stylish,” and the First Lady returned the compliment to the entire crowd, saying: “You all look fabulous.”

Joined by Avon CEO Andrea Jung, actress Reese Witherspoon announced new efforts in their multi year crusade to end violence against women, during International Women’s Day in Washington, D.C. today (March 10).

Avon and Vital Voices announced The Global Partnership to End Violence Against Women, a new collaboration with the U.S. State Department at the three day conference in Washington, D.C.

The initiative aims to combat the worst forms of violence against women and help ensure justice for women and girls.

At the conference Avon and the Avon Foundation for Women announced a $1.2 million donation to Vital Voices for new innovative solutions to address the global pandemic of violence against women.

Reese Witherspoon was spotted leaving her home in Brentwood, CA today (March 3) looking rather disheveled sporting sweatpants, Ugg boots and a ponytail.

However, the 34-year-old actress made the most of her time in the car as she arrived at her final destination in a completely new outfit looking very polished and put together.

Obviously the busy mother of two knows how to make the most of her time!
