Renee Zellweger was spotted taking a trip to Santa Monica, CA in her favourite pants to have lunch with a friend this afternoon (March 10).

Proving she’s a model citizen, the 40-year-old actress made sure to feed the meter before heading into the restaurant.

Meanwhile, Renee says she’s not worried about turning 41 next month.

“I don’t really think about it at all. I’m in a pretty great place right now in my life and it has nothing to do with decades or numbers,” she says. “My great-aunt just had her 90th birthday. Now that’s a milestone.”

She adds: “When I was a kid, 40 was ancient. I don’t think of it that way at all any more. Even friends in their late fifties feel like contemporaries. I’m glad of that.”

A bevy of Hollywood’s most fashionable ladies stepped out in full force last night (March 2) for the Vera Wang store launch in Los Angeles.

Lead by red carpet beauty Reese Witherspoon, the star-studded and style-infused affair debuted the American designer’s new west coast flagship store as well as showed off the American designer’s latest wedding gown collection.

Taking particular interest in the wedding gowns? None other than fellow invitee Reese Witherspoon, who has been making headlines in recent months for her steamy relationship with big screen hunk Bradley Cooper.

However, her spokesperson has cleared the air, insisting the reports are false. “(The story is) so not true,” she says. “Renee more than anyone would be true to the character.”

Renee Zellweger was up bright and early this morning (February 11) to attend the International Jury Photocall during day one of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin, Germany.

The 40-year-old actress was joined by fellow jury members Cornelia Froboess, Werner Herzog and Yu Nan as she answered questions from the international press ahead of two weeks of film festivities.

The 60th edition of the annual event boasts glamorous world premieres such as Martin Scorsese’s made-in-Boston Shutter Island with Leonardo DiCaprio and Roman Polanski’s thriller The Ghost Writer, starring Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor.

The festival’s Gold and Silver Bears are awarded in major competition categories on closing night, February 21.

Renee Zellweger was in good spirits as she arrived at Berlin Tegel Airport in Berlin, Germany this morning (February 9).

The Oscar-winning actress is set to be among the judges who pick the winner of the coveted Golden Bear top prize dur the 60th Berlin International Film Festival.

The Chicago acresss will sit on a seven-member panel chaired by Academy Award-nominated German director Werner Herzog at the February 11-21 event.

Renee’s appointment follows her appearance in My One and Only, which contested for the Golden Bear award at last year’s festival.

As for Bradley Cooper’s whereabouts? He’s back in L.A. busy making the rounds promoting Valentine’s Day ahead of its Friday release.
